Formed by hand and glazed with small brushes to bring out the detail in pattern and texture. Ideal for serving small side dishes or a generous offering of olives or nuts. All glazes are food safe and hand washing is recommended to avoid breakage. Each will vary slightly. These serving dishes are so pretty they will not go back into the cabinet after use. Leave them out to enjoy them! Dimensions: 1.5in H x 5.0in W x 7.5in L About the artist Laurie Pollpeter Eskenazi has worked with clay for over 25 years. As a little girl, she was fascinated with the items found on and in her Grandmother’s dresser. It was filled with old button boxes, crazy quilts, and hand tatted lace. Laurie’s pottery is inspired by the traditional needle crafts made by women in the 19th and early 20th century. She strives for a non-manicured organic look, by layering impressions taken from vintage lace, buttons, and hand made stamps. Influenced by the colors and textures found in her travels throughout France, Italy, Spain and the rural Midwest, her pallet is lush and vibrant.
