American Legion Post #193 – Supporting area veterans and their families. Three main groups makeup what they call the Legion Family. The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion, work together as a family. 

Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation – With 9 preserves in the area, JDCF has over 1,000 acres open, free to the public, to enjoy outdoor recreational activities. JDCF provides this service to our community without local tax dollar support.  

Safe Haven for Pets – Safe Haven’s mission is to provide a haven and any necessary treatment for adoptable cats and dogs, place them in forever homes, increase the awareness of the humane treatment of animals, and promote spay and neuter programs.
